Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Purchase Manager to oversee the entire procurement and material management process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, vendor negotiation, material arrangement, client coordination, and payment management. This person will act as the whole and sole in-charge of all purchasing operations, ensuring timely supply, quality control, and cost optimization across projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for sheets, laminates, veneers, plywood, hardware and other materials required for door and interior manufacturing.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors and suppliers to maintain a competitive vendor base.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions with vendors for cost efficiency.
  • Plan and arrange timely delivery of materials to meet project and production deadlines.
  • Coordinate with clients and project teams to understand material specifications and resolve any procurement-related issues.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse team for replenishment.
  • Oversee sampling, material approval, and quality checks before final procurement.
  • Manage vendor payments, follow-ups, and reconciliation with the accounts department.
  • Maintain purchase records, contracts, and supplier performance data.
  • Prepare and share procurement MIS reports, purchase summaries, and cost analyses with management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards.
  • Lead and guide a small purchase operations team to ensure timely task completion.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in doors, interiors, or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of sheet materials, laminates, hardware, and fittings.
  • Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
  • Strong command of MS Excel and familiarity with ERP or Tally systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Analytical thinker with problem-solving ability and a focus on cost control.
  • Proven ability to work independently with high accountability.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
