Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Purchase Manager to oversee the complete supply chain and procurement operations of mechanical and electrical components used in SHK turbine systems. This role demands strong technical understanding, leadership, and the ability to execute multi-million-dollar projects with efficiency and precision.

What you’ll be doing
1) Take full ownership of the supply chain lifecycle — from sourcing to delivery, for mechanical parts, steel, gears, bearings, couplings, generators, transformers, cables and more.
2) Negotiate with global suppliers, manage contracts and monitor supplier performance.
3) Build and lead vendor relationships that deliver quality, reliability & cost-efficiency.
4) Hands-on coordination with production and site teams — manage multiple turbine-projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and budgets.
5) Travel extensively — be ready to visit project sites across India and overseas to inspect, commission and ensure project excellence.
6) Use your knowledge of international material grades and market rates to optimize cost and value.

What we’re looking for:

2) 5+ years’ experience managing procurement & supply chain in the mechanical or electrical manufacturing sector — preferably with multi-million-dollar project exposure.
3) Strong leadership, negotiation and vendor-management skills
4) Comfortable working under pressure, managing multiple priorities and delivering results
5) Willingness to travel frequently and globally
6) Proficiency with SCM tools/software
7) Professional integrity, adaptability, attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement
