• Design, develop and execute short term, mid-term and long-term strategy & tactics for packaging materials
• Cost Negotiations and execution
• Inventory Management & Control
• Material Planning & Delivery
• Team Management & Leadership
• Adopt ESG practices in sourcing & ensure all vendor partners are aligned with sustainability goals (execute sustainability in suppliers end)

Interfaces departments; • Packaging Development • Supply Chain • Manufacturing • Finance & Accounts • Marketing • International Business Team • R&D • CQA • Plant Teams • Regulatory

• Savings vs Budget
• Savings vs Market (Marked to Market)
• OTIF (On-Time In-Full delivery) Score
• Inventory Management (# days of inventory)
• Progress against identified Cost Saving as well as other Initiatives
• Quality Management / Supplier Coordination
• New Products Development
• Implement best in class IT/digital initiatives in packaging material buying portfolio

Experience and education

• Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging from IIP (Indian Institute of Packaging).
• 10+ years of experience of Rigid Plastics • Flexible Packaging (Lami-tubes, Laminates, Sleeves, Juice Laminates) • Paper Based PM (CBB, Mono Cartons, Labels) • Glass Bottles and other metal based PM.
