Key Responsibilities
- Supplier & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and quality standards.
- Procurement & Purchasing: Process purchase orders (POs), track deliveries, and ensure timely, cost-effective acquisition of materials.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, aligning with production or project schedules.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze spending patterns, market trends, and quotes to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, contracts, and invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Assistant, or similar role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working under pressure.
