Purchase Officer-Building Materials

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Officer to manage procurement activities for our B2C electrical and building material trading business. The role involves sourcing electrical & building material products, negotiating with suppliers, maintaining optimal stock levels, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support retail.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for electrical and building material products and accessories
• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stock-outs or overstocking
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve delays, shortages, or quality issues.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, invoices, and supplier contracts.
• Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and finance teams for demand planning and payments
• Ensure compliance with company standards, warranties, and regulatory requirements
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in purchasing/procurement (preferably in electrical & building material trading)
• Strong knowledge of electrical products, brands, and suppliers (preferred)
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/inventory management systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced B2C environment

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
