Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the purchase and procurement process for store requirements.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for best prices, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Review and verify purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely approvals and dispatches.
  • Coordinate with the GRN, accounts, and warehouse teams for stock receipt and reconciliation.
  • Maintain vendor database, pricing history, and purchase records.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock replenishment.
  • Analyze purchase trends, costs, and supplier performance for efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and audit requirements.

Requirements:

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Commerce, Business, or Supply Chain Management).
  • 2–5 years of experience in retail purchasing or procurement, preferably in FMCG or supermarket operations.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and vendor coordination.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and ERP/POS systems.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
