Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the purchase and procurement process for store requirements.
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for best prices, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Review and verify purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely approvals and dispatches.
- Coordinate with the GRN, accounts, and warehouse teams for stock receipt and reconciliation.
- Maintain vendor database, pricing history, and purchase records.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock replenishment.
- Analyze purchase trends, costs, and supplier performance for efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and audit requirements.
Requirements:
- Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Commerce, Business, or Supply Chain Management).
- 2–5 years of experience in retail purchasing or procurement, preferably in FMCG or supermarket operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and vendor coordination.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and ERP/POS systems.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
