Key Responsibilities:

Purchaser

  • Purchase general store items such as tools, safety equipment, cleaning supplies, lubricants, groceries, vegetables and consumables items.
  • Procure machine spare parts, electrical items, bearings, belts, motors, and maintenance-related materials.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders based on store and maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain proper records of inventory, purchases, and supplier details.
  • Identify and develop vendors for spare parts, repair services, and general supplies.
  • Negotiate prices, credit terms, and delivery timelines.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance/engineering team for machine repair needs.
  • Arrange repair of faulty machine parts through external vendors or workshops.
  • Ensure timely availability of spare parts to reduce machine downtime.
  • Follow up on repair work, servicing schedules, and delivery of repaired items.
  • Maintain records of repairs, servicing history, and costs.
  • Work closely with production and maintenance teams to understand urgent requirements.
  • Track and report procurement status and pending orders.
  • Ensure all materials meet required specifications and quality standards.
  • Factory-based role with regular visits to local markets and vendors.
  • Involvement in urgent breakdown situations may require extended hours.

Required Qualifications:

  • Inter, Bachelor’s degree or Diploma (preferably in Mechanical/Electrical or Supply Chain).
  • 3–5 years of experience in store purchasing and maintenance/spare parts procurement in manufacturing industry.
  • Basic understanding of industrial machinery and spare parts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
