Purchaser - Executive

Job Title: Purchase Executive / Purchaser

Location: Korangi Industrial Area - Karachi
Industry: Leather Goods / Garments Manufacturing
Reports To: Procurement Manager

The Role

As our Purchaser, you will be responsible for the day-to-day procurement of raw materials, general items, required for leather glove production. You will work closely with suppliers and the production team to ensure the right materials are available at the right time and cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure raw materials, packaging supplies, and general consumables as per production requirements.
• Raise purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with vendors on pricing, payment terms, and order status.
• Monitor inventory levels and inform the team when reordering is needed.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
• Assist in quality checks of incoming materials in coordination with the QC team.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in purchasing,

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of leather types and grading is a strong plus.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with inventory software.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
