Location: Americom Imaging Systems
Position Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Purchasing, Receiving & Inventory Manager

Position Overview

Americom is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Assistant to support our purchasing, receiving, and inventory management operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate procurement, inventory accountability, and operational readiness for our Service, Sales, and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist with purchasing of copiers, printers, parts, toner, IT equipment, and consumables

· Prepare and process purchase orders with accuracy and attention to detail

· Verify part numbers, quantities, configurations, and pricing prior to ordering

· Receive and inspect inbound shipments for accuracy and condition

· Document received goods and reconcile packing slips with purchase orders

· Assist with inventory tracking, storage, and reconciliation

· Maintain organized purchasing and receiving records

· Coordinate with vendors, service staff, and internal departments as needed

Qualifications

· Strong organizational and administrative skills

· High attention to detail and accuracy

· Basic knowledge of purchasing or inventory processes preferred

· Comfortable working with order systems, spreadsheets, and documentation

· Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

· Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
