Key responsibilities:-

Vendor and supplier management: Research, evaluate, and build relationships with new and existing vendors and suppliers of used computers and parts.

Sourcing and purchasing: Actively source used computer hardware, analyze pricing from different vendors, and make purchasing decisions based on quality and cost.

Order and contract management: Prepare and issue purchase orders, negotiate prices and contract terms, and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of goods.

Inventory and data management: Track incoming inventory against purchase orders, maintain accurate inventory levels, and update and maintain records of all orders, payments, and received stock.

Quality control: Verify the quality of purchased products and resolve any discrepancies or errors with suppliers.

Market analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and market pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.

Reporting: Assist in creating inventory reports and provide data on purchasing trends to management.

An analytical mind with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience in purchasing or procurement is preferred. Experience with the IT hardware market is a plus.

Skills: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed for dealing with suppliers.

Technical proficiency: Must be proficient with computer systems, including MS Office (especially Excel). Familiarity with inventory management and CRM software is beneficial.

Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail is required for record-keeping, order verification, and resolving discrepancies.
