About the Role:

We are seeking a Purchasing Officer with solid experience in cosmetics or personal care manufacturing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing raw materials, chemicals, and packaging components used in the production of skincare, haircare, and beauty products.

This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong negotiation skills, knowledge of cosmetic ingredient suppliers, and the ability to manage import documentation and supplier coordination efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase cosmetic raw materials, packaging, and chemical ingredients from local and international suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance and pricing while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, quotation comparisons, and supplier agreements.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and stock reports in coordination with the store and production departments.
• Collaborate with R&D and Quality Control teams to ensure materials meet formulation and specification standards.
• Track shipments and handle import procedures, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with UAE regulations.
• Identify new suppliers and potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain professional relationships with vendors to ensure long-term collaboration and reliability.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field (required).
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in purchasing within the cosmetics, personal care, or chemical manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetic raw materials, chemical ingredients, and supplier networks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with UAE import/export procedures is an advantage.
