Purchase Assistant

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations.
  • Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track order confirmations, deliveries, and invoices.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or excesses.
  • Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on procurement activity, cost analysis, and vendor performance.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure the correct materials are delivered on time.
  • Support in vendor onboarding and documentation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role (preferred).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
