Purchasing Manager

As a Purchasing Manager, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Daily Responsibilities

• Managing daily purchasing activities by building a productive team
• Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation
• Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs
• Working to improve purchasing systems and processes
• Training new employees in the purchasing process and how to use the purchasing system
• Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts
• Increase inventory turns
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven success as a purchasing manager or applicable experience
• Supervisory and management experience
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of MS Office and Sage Accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong analytical mindset
• BS/BA in business administration or relevant field – a plus, but not required
