Purchasing Manager

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and contract negotiation to optimize our purchasing operations effectively.

Duties

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives.
• Manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials, supplies, and services.
• Oversee supplier management, including evaluating vendor performance and negotiating contracts.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess pricing trends.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock through effective inventory management practices.
• Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment on procurement needs and supply chain logistics.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, including sourcing, logistics, and vendor management.
• Expertise in negotiation techniques for contract management and pricing strategies.
• Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to optimize inventory control.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
