Profile - Purchasing and Supplier Development Manager in India (Ajusa Group)
Main Responsibilities
- Locate and select new suppliers of raw materials (steels, rubbers, fibers, etc.) and finished products related to gaskets and engine components.
- Perform on-site audits in factories to verify quality, production capacity and compliance with specifications.
- Negotiate prices and commercial conditions seeking to optimize the total cost of purchase.
- Maintain an updated database of suppliers and prepare periodic evaluation and monitoring reports.
- Collaborate directly with the Global Purchasing Director of Ajusa (Spain), reporting progress, incidents and opportunities.
- Coordinate the logistics and documentation necessary for shipments to Spain.
- In the future, support in commercial prospecting to introduce Ajusa products into the Indian market.
Dedication:
o60% of the time in the office, locating suppliers and preparing trips.
o40% of the time traveling to visit and audit factories.
- Reporting Directly: Global Purchasing Director of Ajusa.
