Purchasing Manager

Job Summary

Lead and oversee the different teams in the management & conduct of the Sourcing, Purchasing and Logistics operations/activities in accordance with the Company Standards, Policies and Procedures in order to ensure the continuous provision of the Business requirements for our day to day operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Export & Logistics’ operational activities are conducted in line with the Company’s Standards, Policies, and Procedures in order to maintain the timely receiving, shipping and distribution of all Company materials and product units to the right parties.
  • Ensure the evaluation of all new and existing Vendors’ performance in line with the Company’s requirements in order to maintain the consistent provision of quality goods and services at the right place and at the right price.
  • Build, manage and motivate the Purchasing & Sourcing staff towards Team development and exemplary performance in order to maximize productivity and harmony.
  • Oversee and support our purchasing staff
  • Implementation of Purchasing & Sourcing Strategies, Policies and Procedures to ensure the provision of a clear and common framework and direction for all P&S related services and activities.
  • Its efficient communication, implementation, and control in order to maximize the effectiveness of the function.

Qualifications

  • The manufacturing Industry but with working knowledge on the technical specifications and components of HVAC products is an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor /Master’s degree in mechanical engineer.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience at Supply Chain, Materials Management or Logistics in a Manufacturing firm.
