We’re Hiring: International Purchasing Officer

About the Role:

Reef Holding is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented International Purchasing Officer to manage and oversee global procurement operations. This role is essential in ensuring timely sourcing, cost-effective purchasing, and smooth coordination with global suppliers to support our expanding retail and fragrance business.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Planning & Execution

• Communicate daily with international suppliers to track and manage purchasing activities.
• Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and other departments to determine material requirements.
• Execute purchase operations within defined budgets.
• Review and approve purchase orders before issuance.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures throughout the procurement cycle.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, negotiate effectively, and anticipate changes in terms and conditions.
• Continuously monitor shipment status to ensure timely delivery.
• Handle import documentation, including air and sea freight bills, conformity certificates, customs invoices, and packing lists.
• Review existing contracts to ensure validity and compliance.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.

Policies & Procedures

• Recommend improvements to international purchasing policies and implement control measures.
• Ensure process compliance to meet standards of quality, efficiency, and cost control.
• Contribute to enhancing operational systems through best practices and increased productivity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Strong negotiation, planning, and supplier management skills.
• Experience in handling shipping documents and customs processes.
• Proficiency in ERP and procurement systems.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
