Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Purchasing Officer with a minimum of three years of procurement experience within the UAE market. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of local suppliers, UAE procurement regulations, and cost control practices. Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best pricing and terms.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely procurement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and source new vendors when required.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE laws, company policies, and procurement procedures.
  • Compare and analyze product quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Handle contract negotiations and supplier agreements.
  • Resolve supply issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience within the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE market suppliers and procurement regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
