At Boutiqaat , we’re looking for a Purchasing Officer who can blend precision, planning, and partnership to keep our shelves full and our supply chain flawless especially in the fast-paced world of Beauty & Cosmetics.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be the engine behind product availability ensuring the right products arrive at the right time, in the right quantity, at the right cost.

• Create accurate purchase orders (quantities, specs, timelines no detail overlooked)
• Track shipments and monitor order status from supplier to warehouse
• Resolve delivery delays, quality concerns, or discrepancies with confidence
• Act as the key bridge between suppliers and internal teams
• Maintain optimal stock levels no overstock, no stockouts
• Forecast demand using historical data, promotions, and market trends
• Conduct inventory audits and ensure stock accuracy
• Align closely with purchasing and warehouse teams
• Collaborate with Marketing to ensure accurate product listings (descriptions, pricing, images, availability)
• Support category assortment decisions aligned with consumer demand and brand positioning
• Coordinate timely and cost-effective product delivery
• Monitor shipping timelines and customs clearance processes
• Proactively address delays, damaged goods, or shipment discrepancies
• Track supplier lead times and quality standards
• Generate reports on purchasing activity, stock levels, and product performance
• Provide data-driven recommendations for operational improvements

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing/procurement experience (Beauty & Cosmetics industry preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills
• ERP system proficiency
• Fluent English
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Customer-oriented and proactive mindset
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to forecast demand and manage inventory effectively
• Skilled in vendor communication and logistics coordination
• Reporting expertise with actionable insights
