Purchasing Officer (F&B)

We are looking for a detail oriented and proactive Purchasing Officer to join our team who has prior experience in Food & Beverage Industry. In this role, you will support the procurement function by sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure timely purchase of goods vital to our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and submit purchase agreements to the Purchasing Manager.
• Travel to different branches as needed for deliveries or procurement activities.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Research potential suppliers, market trends, and pricing to support cost saving initiatives.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts and supplier agreements.
• Monitor inventory levels and support reordering to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations.
• Coordinate with finance, operations, and other departments to align procurement needs.
• Resolve order, delivery, or invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Contribute to identifying cost saving opportunities and process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Male candidate with prior procurement experience in F&B (fast food) industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel to multiple locations as required.
• Must be willing to accept the offered salary.
