What you'll do
  • You will be joining a dedicated beach team and will report directly to the Beach Club Management team.
  • You will work with various stakeholders to ensure implementation of all control procedures for property goods entering through the purchasing/receiving areas.
  • You will be the designate systems champion (Adaco) and ensures colleagues are successfully trained on the system.
  • You will Organize/Asses Perishables re-order figures, in keeping with daily orders to ensuring minimal inventory.
  • You will be entrusted to communicate with HODs and provide alternative solutions for any short shipment or delivery delays to ensure there is no disruption to the operational activities.
  • At all times you will ensure securing of minimum three quotations for products that are not contracted.
  • Enforce ethical practices in all dealings with company suppliers; monitor subordinates and companies that pursue improper practices.
  • You will provide support and assist the Purchasing Manager in all purchasing related activities.

  • Along with your main duties you may be asked to complete other tasks as and when necessary and reasonably required.
  • You may on occasion be required to adjust your hours of work to cover the beach club needs.
  • You acknowledge that working in beach club operations involves exposure to heat and sun, operating under pressure, and requires standing and walking for long periods of time.

What you'll bring
  • You'll bring your unique personality and passion to the role and the team.
  • IT savvy and deep understanding of purchasing systems, e.g., Adaco.
  • Experience in the use of document management system software's, e.g., Docuware, DocuSign
  • Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
  • English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.

You will have 2-3 years extensive experience as a Purchasing Officer or Supervisor in a 5-star luxury establishment.
