Purchasing Supervisor

General Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management; automotive industry experience is preferred
  • Proven ability to contribute to project phases and factory setup processes
  • Hands-on experience in supplier localization and localization projects
  • Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills
  • A collaborative team player with leadership potential
  • Basic understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
  • Willingness to travel; valid Category B driver’s license preferred


Job Description


  • Support purchasing operations during the factory establishment phase
  • Coordinate procurement activities in collaboration with the Japanese project team
  • Manage communication with domestic and international suppliers, including quotation and order processes
  • Organize and oversee purchasing operations post-production launch
  • Drive improvements in purchasing processes and contribute to cost optimization
  • Plan and execute supplier localization projects
  • Perform regular reporting and maintain documentation
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in purchasing
  • Assist in departmental budgeting activities
