ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide construction document production support

Coordinate with various design team disciplines including civil engineers, structural engineers, and surveyors

PVSyst/ CAD to create construction documents and perform quantity takeoffs. Construction documents will include site layouts, wire/cable routing plans, single line diagrams, construction details, equipment, and conduit details etc.

Create wiring/cable schedule-based takeoffs and sizing input from senior designers and engineers

Maintain awareness and knowledge of EVS design/CAD standards and provide input for improvement
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates Degree or Technical School Certificate in Electrical Design, Solar Design, Architectural/Engineering Drafting, or related degree

2-5 years of experience in the drafting/design of electrical power/distribution systems

1+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel

Must have proficiency in PVSyst/ CAD

Experience and knowledge of basic electrical design concepts

Working knowledge and ability to read construction drawings and specifications

Excellent written and verbal communications skills
