PVC Tailor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PVC Tailor to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, sewing, welding, and assembling PVC materials into custom products such as tarpaulins, tents, boat covers, rainwear, and industrial covers. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and the ability to work with heavy-duty industrial machines and heat welding equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, mark, and cut PVC fabric based on patterns or customer specifications.
• Operate industrial sewing machines and/or high-frequency welding machines for PVC materials.
• Assemble and join PVC panels using stitching, welding, or adhesive bonding methods.
• Modify or repair PVC products as needed.
• Interpret technical drawings or customer requirements accurately.
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and durability.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workshop.
• Monitor material inventory and report shortages.
• Collaborate with designers, supervisors, and quality control teams.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a tailor, seamstress, or fabricator working with PVC or similar materials.
• Familiarity with industrial sewing machines and PVC welding techniques.
• Ability to read and follow patterns, drawings, and measurements accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Physical stamina and ability to work with heavy materials.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety standards.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing tents, awnings, tarpaulins, or similar PVC-based products.
• Knowledge of different PVC grades and their applications.
• Certification or training in fabric welding or industrial tailoring is a plus.

Work Environment:

• Workshop or factory setting.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
