Job Title: DP Language and Literature Teacher

Grades: 11 & 12Location: SuratJob Type: Full-time | On-site

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated DP Language and Literature teacher to join our IB Diploma Programme team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Literature and English Language, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire students to develop analytical and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver well-planned and engaging lessons aligned with the IBDP framework for Language and Literature.
• Foster critical thinking, interpretation, and communication skills through a variety of teaching methods.
• Provide individualised support and feedback to students to help them achieve their academic potential.
• Assess and record student progress, prepare formative and summative assessments, and share timely feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning, moderation, and interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
• Organise and participate in subject-specific events, literary activities, and school-wide initiatives.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training sessions, and collaborative learning.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
• Excellent command of English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Creative, energetic, and committed to high-quality implementation.
• Technology inclined and computer literate (Windows/macOS/Linux, G Suite, Google Meet, Zoom, etc.).
• Prior experience with the IBDP framework (preferred, not mandatory).

Work Time

• DP: 7:40 AM to 3:45 PM (Monday to Saturday)
