Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java and Selenium to join our Quality Assurance team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. This role requires a deep understanding of automation best practices, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
* Create and enhance automation frameworks to support web application testing.
* Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and define test coverage.
* Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of applications across multiple environments.
* Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
* Execute test scripts, analyze results, and report defects using tools such as JIRA.
* Develop and maintain reusable test data management strategies.
* Ensure compliance with testing standards and participate in code reviews for test automation scripts.
* Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
* Collaborate with developers to identify automation opportunities and optimize existing test suites.

Required Skills & Experience:

* Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation.
* Strong programming experience in Java.
* Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and related test automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
* Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
* Proficiency in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
*Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and defect tracking tools (JIRA).
* Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Solid understanding of XPath, CSS selectors, and dynamic element handling.
* Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with Cucumber (BDD) or Serenity frameworks.
* Exposure to cloud-based testing tools such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
* Knowledge of database testing and ability to write SQL queries.
* Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
* Understanding of test reporting tools such as Allure, Extent Reports, or ReportNG.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 - 12 months

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
