QA Automation Engineer

About the Role

As an Automation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining

robust automation frameworks that ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our

applications and APIs.

What You’ll Be Doing

· Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test suites for web and API

· testing.

· Automate functional, integration, and regression test cases across multiple platforms.

· Integrate automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation and

· deployment.

· Apply strong debugging skills and a deep understanding of DOM structures, selectors,

· and asynchronous behavior.

· Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify automation opportunities and

· improve testing efficiency.

· Log, manage, and track defects using tools like Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.

· Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks, tools, and processes.

· Maintain up-to-date test documentation, scripts, and framework configurations.

What We Look For

· 4–5 years of hands-on experience in test automation, with at least 1 year of experience using Playwright or Cypress (JavaScript/TypeScript).

· Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience working directly with customers.

· Proficiency in automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.

· Strong programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.

· Experience integrating automation frameworks within CI/CD environments (e.g.,

· TeamCity, CircleCI, Jenkins).

· Solid understanding of test architecture, framework scalability, and automation strategy.

· Familiarity with test management and defect-tracking tools like Zephyr, TestRail, or Jira.

· Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile, fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

· Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers in automation practices.

· Exposure to API automation, performance, or security testing tools.

· Hands-on experience with cross-browser or mobile automation.

· Understanding of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and shift-left testing methodologies.
