We are seeking a skilled and proactive QA Automation Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and ensure the robustness of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, programming, and quality assurance best practices.
Requirements
Design, develop, and execute test cases and scenarios based on business and functional requirements
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for banking applications
Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium and Appium
Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives)
Track and manage defects using Jira, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up until closure
Collaborate with developers using GitLab for version control and CI/CD processes
Validate APIs, databases, and backend services where applicable
Ensure compliance with banking standards, security, and regulatory requirements
Prepare test reports, defect reports, and quality metrics for stakeholders
Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and automation coverage
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
ISTQB Certification is mandatory
Proven experience in software testing within banking or financial services is preferred
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle and Defect Life Cycle
Technical Skills:
