Summary Of The Role

“Travel, Shopping & Reservation” division under Amadeus has a key product development team. This team develops some of the most technically complex and challenging products in the backend shopping and pricing engine. You will be part of the backend development and maintenance team.

As a QA Engineer at Amadeus, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions used by airlines worldwide. You will define and implement testing strategies, design and automate test cases, and collaborate closely with developers and analysts to deliver top-quality releases.

In This Role, You'll Find a Chance To

  • Implement and continuously improve the overall test strategy for assigned projects.
  • Define and document test cases based on customer and business requirements, ensuring full traceability with specifications.
  • Prepare test plans (functional and non-functional) and contribute to master test plans.
  • Enhance and maintain the regression test repository.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases.
  • Prepare and manage test environments and test data.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
  • Provide clear Go/No-Go recommendations for release decisions.
  • Actively contribute to quality control across projects, products, and releases.
  • Participate in specification and design reviews, sharing testing perspectives early in the process.
  • Report and communicate test results and progress to stakeholders.
  • Learn from customer feedback to refine test coverage and strategies.
  • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.

About Ideal Candidate

  • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, integration test, API test and quality processes
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman, Swagger UI, SOAP UI, Robot Framework / RobotCode and ALM Octane
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Communication and teamwork skills
