QA Engineers

About the Role

Classic Programmers is hiring a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, stability, and usability of our knowledge-based Q&A platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring a smooth user experience before release.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web applications to identify functional, UI, and usability issues.
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
• Conduct regression testing after bug fixes and new feature releases.
• Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce, track, and verify bug fixes.
• Log, track, and manage defects using tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.
• Validate requirements and ensure features meet acceptance criteria.
• Test across multiple browsers and devices to ensure compatibility.
• Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and pre-release validations.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in manual QA / software testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC and basic Agile concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Ability to write clear and structured test documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Must be Lahore-based and available for on-site work.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman or similar).
• Understanding of SQL/database basics.
• Exposure to automation testing tools (a plus, not mandatory).
• ISTQB or other QA certifications (preferred but not required).
