IT QA Lead
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of QA professionals in the creation and execution of test plans.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop and implement testing strategies for new and existing products.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend best practices.
- Facilitating defect triage sessions and collaborating with developers in resolving issues.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members.
- Review test artifacts and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in both manual and automated testing approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies is a plus.
