QA Lead

We are looking for a QA Lead to drive quality strategy across web, mobile, and enterprise applications. This role combines hands-on testing expertise with team leadership and process ownership.

You will lead manual and automated testing efforts, define quality standards, and ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing systems across web platforms, mobile apps, APIs, and CMS-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall QA strategy across projects.
• Lead test planning, estimation, and execution for releases.
• Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers and testers.
• Design and review test cases, test scenarios, and automation scripts.
• Perform and oversee Web, Mobile, Responsive, and API testing activities, ensuring thorough functional and non-functional coverage.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium or Cypress, while driving overall test automation best practices.
• Perform and coordinate regression, UAT, smoke, and performance testing
• Work closely with developers, project managers, and business teams during sprints
• Ensure applications meet security and data protection best practices (good to have)
• Maintain QA documentation, standards, and test artifacts
• Act as the quality escalation point for critical production issues

Technical Skills

• Experience testing web applications across browsers and devices.
• Strong understanding of responsive design validation.
• Experience testing mobile apps (Android/iOS) or mobile web apps.
• Familiarity with tools like BrowserStack, or emulators
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, etc.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication, and status codes
• Ability to validate API integrations between systems
• Experience building automation frameworks using:

- Selenium
- Cypress

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Java, or Python
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Testing experience with one or more of the following CMS platforms such as:

- Drupal
- WordPress
- Umbraco
- SharePoint

• Good working knowledge of SQL for validating data, writing queries, and verifying backend/database test scenarios.
• Experience testing enterprise systems like CRM, ERP, HRMS, or internal portals
• Basic knowledge of security testing concepts (OWASP, vulnerabilities, access control)
• Exposure to performance or load testing tools such as JMeter
• Strong understanding of SDLC and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Ability to define test strategies, regression plans, and QA metrics
• Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
