QA Specialist

Location: Riyadh, KSA (Onsite)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced QA Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance, preferably within the financial or banking sector. This role involves ensuring system quality, validating business requirements, and supporting the full testing lifecycle of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Review business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles with business stakeholders.
• Identify, document, and track defects; follow through to resolution with developers and project teams.
• Ensure all testing activities comply with established standards, processes, and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure high-quality system delivery.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and quality.
• Prepare detailed testing reports, summaries, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Tester, QA Analyst, or QA Specialist.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Experience in testing applications within banking/financial domains (preferred).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in test automation tools (optional but beneficial).
• Knowledge of APIs, SQL queries, and defect management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, etc.
• Prior experience working in the GCC region.
