QA Supervisor

Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA Supervisor to lead our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing quality control processes across food manufacturing operations, ensuring that products meet rigorous standards and comply with industry regulations. Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate quality assurance activities throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance in food safety or food manufacturing.
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to established quality systems.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management procedures and documentation to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Oversee training programs for staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage internal and external audits related to quality systems and ensure readiness for certification processes.
• Support project management initiatives related to new product development or process improvements with a focus on quality assurance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of quality control, inspection, and assurance processes.
• Knowledge of BRC Audits, GMPs, USDA and OSHA and other food safety programs.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct effective quality audits and manage compliance documentation.
• Strong analysis skills for identifying issues and implementing effective solutions quickly.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing a team of QA/QC professionals.
• Familiarity with quality management software and systems used in manufacturing settings.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
