QA/QC Engineer

Silver Diamond Decoration L.L.C (Under ASFY Decoration EST), a leading company specialized in gypsum ceiling and partition works, especially GRG and Gypsum board works is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Technical Engineer to join our team in delivering high-quality interior fit-out projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in quality control, site inspections, and ensuring all works comply with relevant standards, project specifications, and design intent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewed project specifications, IFC drawings, and prepared shop/coordination drawings for approvals.
• Coordinated with consultants, contractors, and other trades to resolve technical issues.
• Planned and monitored gypsum, GRG, drywall, ceiling, and painting works to meet project timelines.
• Prepared material take-offs, procurement requests, and delivery schedules.
• Ensured works complied with project specifications, standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Submitted and followed up on WIRs/MIRs and attended site inspections with consultants.
• Maintained technical documentation including approvals, method statements, and as-built drawings.
• Supported QS team with accurate quantity take-offs and material reconciliation.
• Provided technical guidance to site engineers, supervisors, and foremen.
• Resolved site-related technical issues, clashes, and modifications.
• Implemented corrective actions for non-conformances and reworks.
• Ensured compliance with HSE policies and promoted safe installation practices.
• Minimized material wastage and ensured proper handling and storage on site

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Strong knowledge of GRG applications: domes, columns, ceiling panels, and decorative elements
• Hands-on experience in inspecting gypsum partitions, ceilings, and feature bulkheads
• Proficient in reading and verifying shop drawings, RCPs, and architectural details
• Familiarity with fire-rated and moisture-resistant gypsum systems and installation methods
• Skilled in preparing and reviewing ITPs, IRs, MIRs, and quality checklists
• Experience in managing NCRs and implementing corrective actions on site
• Ability to coordinate with GRG/gypsum suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and QA documentation tools
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills (Can speak Tagalog and English)
• Knowledge of local building codes and QA/QC standards applicable to Interior Fit-Out
