QA/QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan and QA/QC procedures
• Conduct inspections of ongoing construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs)
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and site teams on quality-related matters
• Ensure all materials used at site are approved and comply with project requirements
• Conduct site inspections and witness tests as per approved ITPs
• Identify non-conformities (NCRs), recommend corrective actions, and ensure closure
• Maintain proper QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and records
• Monitor workmanship standards and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Assist in internal and external audits related to quality management systems
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards, local authority requirements, and project specifications
• Provide guidance and training to site staff on quality requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in construction projects in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality standards
• Familiarity with UAE codes, standards, and local authority requirements
• Experience in handling consultants and client inspections
• Proficiency in preparing QA/QC reports and documentation
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems is preferred
