QA/QC Engineer (Civil)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Civil QA/QC Engineer with 2–3 years of UAE experience to support quality assurance and quality control activities on construction projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and fit-out works and a strong understanding of local standards and project quality requirements.

Note: Candidates with Oil & Gas or EPC project experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain the project QA/QC plan in accordance with contract specifications and approved standards
• Conduct inspections for civil works including concrete, formwork, reinforcement, masonry, and finishing works
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
• Coordinate with consultants, project engineers, and site teams for inspections and approvals
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation including MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, checklists, and reports
• Monitor material approvals, testing, and subcontractor quality performance
• Identify non-conformities and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions
• Assist in internal audits and consultant audits related to quality compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant UAE experience in construction projects
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and local authority standards
• Experience in building construction and/or fit-out works
• Familiarity with ISO standards is an added advantage
• Good communication and documentation skills

• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC documentation systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
