Job Title: QA/QC Engineer – MEP

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Engineer – MEP to ensure that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works are executed in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The candidate will be responsible for implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and maintaining documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures for MEP works in line with project requirements.
• Conduct inspections and tests for MEP installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Monitor site activities and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors on quality-related matters.
• Prepare Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and maintain records.
• Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Ensure all testing and commissioning activities are properly conducted and documented.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, reports, and project quality records.
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in QA/QC for MEP works in construction projects (preferably high-rise buildings).
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and installation practices.
• Familiarity with international standards such as ISO, ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.
• Experience in preparing QA/QC documentation and reports.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
