QA/QC Engineer – Roads & Infrastructure

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our Operations Team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in roads and infrastructure projects within the UAE and a thorough understanding of quality assurance and control procedures in line with project specifications and local standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct inspections and testing of materials, workmanship, and construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Review and verify material submittals, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, NCRs, and corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and maintain high-quality standards throughout execution.
• Participate in internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement of QA/QC processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil or related field).
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of UAE experience in roads and infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, materials testing, and relevant UAE codes and standards.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams under tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain accuracy under pressure.
