QA/QC Engineer (Roads & Infrastructures)

Our client, a well-established construction company in the UAE, is seeking an experienced and proactive QA/QC Engineer to join their project team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring all project works meet quality standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements across civil and MEP disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and method statements.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Prepare and manage QA/QC documents such as material approvals, inspection reports, NCRs, and corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with consultants, site teams, and subcontractors for quality-related inspections and approvals.
• Ensure all materials and workmanship meet local authority and client requirements.
• Participate in internal and external audits, and assist in maintaining ISO standards across the project.
• Maintain complete QA/QC records for handover and close-out documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• With at least 8 years of experience in a QA/QC role within the UAE construction industry.
• Proven experience in civil, MEP, or interior fit-out projects.
• Familiar with UAE building codes and international standards (BS, ASTM, ISO, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality reporting tools.
• Available to join immediately or on short notice (preferred).
