Job Summary

The Head of IT Infrastructure is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of the company’s IT infrastructure across multiple geographic locations, including retail stores and warehouses. This role oversees core infrastructure domains such as networking, end-user support, data centers, cloud platforms, identity and access management, office productivity tools, unified collaboration systems, and IT compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, scalability, and security of IT services to support business operations and growth.

Accountabilities

Core Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the IT infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals.

• Lead infrastructure transformation initiatives including cloud migration, network modernization, and digital workplace enhancements.

• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to ensure infrastructure supports operational and strategic needs.

Core Infrastructure Domains

• Network: Oversee WAN/LAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, and network security across all locations.

• End User Support: Ensure responsive and effective support for employees, including service desk operations and device lifecycle management.

• Data Center: Manage on-premise and co-located data centers, ensuring uptime, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.

• Cloud: Lead adoption and governance of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), including hybrid environments.

• Identity & Access Management: Implement secure and scalable IAM solutions, including SSO, MFA, and role-based access.

• Office Tools & Collaboration: Oversee deployment and optimization of Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and other productivity tools.

• Unified Collaboration: Ensure seamless communication through voice, video, and messaging platforms. • Compliance & Governance: Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS), Software and Hardware Assets compliances, and enforce IT policies and controls.

Team & Vendor Management

• Lead and mentor a distributed team of infrastructure and support professionals.

• Manage third-party vendors, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.

Budget & Performance

• Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget.

• Monitor and report on infrastructure KPIs, availability, and service performance.

• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
