Draftsman - Infrastructure

To prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans for infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed CAD drawings for infrastructure works including roads, utilities, drainage, and earthworks.
• Interpret and translate design sketches, specifications, and civil engineering data into technical drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain drawing records and ensure timely updates as per design revisions and site conditions.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and documentation for project handover.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, project standards, and Sobha PMC’s quality protocols.
• Support site teams with technical drawing clarifications and modifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or ITI in Civil Draftsmanship or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in drafting for infrastructure projects, preferably within the UAE.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant drafting software.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts and infrastructure design standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Experience working with large-scale infrastructure developments.
• Familiarity with UAE municipal standards and approval processes.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
