QA/QC Inspector

The Role

• Conduct inspection and testing of construction materials, workmanship, and completed work. • Ensure all work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. • Review and monitor shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. • Perform site inspections for structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works as applicable. • Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, inspection checklists, and non-conformance reports (NCRs). • Coordinate with site engineers, project engineers, and contractors to resolve quality issues. • Monitor and verify that materials used on site meet project requirements. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during inspections. • Recommend corrective actions for non-conforming work and follow up on implementation. • Maintain proper documentation for client and consultant review.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, • 3–5 years of experience as QA/QC Inspector in building construction projects. • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and codes. • Experience in preparing inspection reports, NCRs, and QA/QC documentation. • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and reporting tools. • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. • Good communication and coordination skills. • Experience with residential, commercial, or high-rise building projects.
