QA/QC Inspector-Electrical

Job Summary:

The QA/QC Electrical Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all electrical installation works at site comply with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and applicable codes. The role involves inspection, documentation, testing coordination, and compliance verification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of electrical works such as cable laying, cable tray installation, conduit work, panel installations, earthing, lighting, and power systems.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
• Verify materials delivered to site are approved and comply with project requirements.
• Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IR) and coordinate with consultants/clients for inspections.
• Monitor installation activities to ensure compliance with local authority regulations (e.g., Kahramaa standards in Qatar).
• Review and verify material submittals, technical data sheets, and compliance certificates.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities such as, Insulation resistance test, continuity test, Earth resistance test, Functional testing of panels and system
• Maintain QA/QC documentation including, Inspection reports, Test reports, NCR (Non-Conformance Reports), Corrective action reports
• Identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper implementation of ITP (Inspection & Test Plan).
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during inspection activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4-5 years of experience in electrical installation works (GCC experience preferred).
• Knowledge of international standards such as IEC, BS, NEC.
• Familiarity with local authority regulations (e.g., Kahramaa – Qatar).
• Strong understanding of electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in building, commercial, hospital, or infrastructure projects.
• Good documentation and reporting skills, Proficiency in MS Office.

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
