Key Responsibilities:1. Quality Planning & Implementation
- Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and Quality Procedures.
- Ensure all QA/QC activities align with company standards, client specifications, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications for quality-related requirements.
2. Site Quality Control
- Supervise QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors at project sites.
- Conduct inspections of materials, structural works, finishing, and MEP interfaces to ensure compliance.
- Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor and verify concrete quality, reinforcement works, waterproofing, finishing, and other key construction activities.
3. Material & Testing
- Verify material approvals, supplier certificates, and test reports.
- Coordinate with third-party laboratories for material and field testing.
- Maintain calibration records of testing equipment and instruments.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain all inspection records, test results, and quality documentation systematically.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly QA/QC reports to management and clients.
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Support audits by clients, consultants, and internal teams.
5. Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on all quality-related matters.
- Participate in progress and coordination meetings to resolve quality issues.
- Guide and train site engineers and supervisors on quality standards and best practices.
6. Continuous Improvement
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality deviations and recommend improvements.
- Implement quality awareness programs and training sessions at sites.
- Drive initiatives to minimize rework, wastage, and cost overruns due to quality lapses.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Diploma with extensive experience may be considered).
- Minimum 15-18 years of experience in QA/QC within the building / infrastructure construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and quality standards (IS codes, ASTM, BS standards, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Certification in QA/QC or ISO Lead Auditor preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of civil construction QA/QC processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with a proactive approach.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and test data.
- Proficiency in MS Office and documentation tools.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
