QA/QC Manager

Position Overview

Gross Electric is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to oversee quality assurance and quality control processes on large-scale industrial electrical projects. This role is responsible for ensuring installations comply with contract documents, applicable codes, and client specifications.

The QA/QC Manager will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and client representatives to maintain high standards of workmanship and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans
• Perform routine field inspections to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and NEC requirements
• Manage inspection and test plans (ITPs)
• Coordinate third-party testing and commissioning activities
• Track and resolve non-conformance reports (NCRs)
• Maintain accurate redlines and turnover documentation
• Support project closeout and final acceptance processes
• Promote continuous improvement and adherence to company quality standards

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical construction experience (industrial or commercial preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of the NEC and electrical installation standards
• Experience managing QA/QC documentation on complex projects
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with project management/document control platforms
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred:

• OSHA 30 certification
• Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or mission-critical facilities
• Familiarity with commissioning processes
