QA/QC Manager

Minimum Qualifications: Graduation or Diploma in Engineering.-Mechanical/Production, ISO Audit certification, CSWIP 3.1, ASNT Level II & III

Minimum Experience: 8 - 10 years post qualification experience in a structured progressive Steel Fabrication and Erection Project site environment.

Job-Specific Skills:

§ Excellent knowledge on Quality Policies & Procedures for the various reputed certifications.

§ Excellent exposure to Quality Audits.

5. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain Quality control in Projects of all welding and fabrication Jobs as per approved ITP.

• Quality Stage inspection and reporting of various activities including machine shop jobs, mechanical etc.
• Quality documentation-inspection reports.
• Carry out Inspection and testing of fabrication and welding.
• Welding Procedure development, qualification and welder qualification
• Implement methods, procedures and welding processes to increase productivity and efficiency in welding
• Develop and implement performance measure indexes for welders and personnel working under him
• Quality inspection co-ordination.
• Co-ordination with Project managers and Project Engineers/Foremen for welding & quality control.
• Ensure a safe and healthy working environment
• Implement PPE and develop a safety work culture among all men working under him
• Ensure availability of QC inspection related tools, Instruments and consumables are available in stores
• Implement-general guidelines on dealing with class surveyors and third party inspectors
• Control and distribution of QC Inspectors and third party subcontracted company technicians
• Ensure and monitor daily, weekly and monthly reporting of man hr data and variations to Project Managers/Engineers & GM
• Arrange Third party Inspections
• Audit Equipments pertaining to Quality –so that they possess valid calibration certificates
• Prepare Project Quality Control /Inspection test plan and ensure adherence to plan. Take corrective actions, Report any deviations to superiors.
• Communicate with production team regarding variations in Quality plan
• Comply with QHSE requirement as applicable.
• To ensure compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, statutory laws, regulations and codes of practice.
• To assist in compliance reviews, risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.
• To promote incident prevention and enforce positive HSE culture for the benefit of TMAK operatives, subcontractors, clients and visitors.
• To ensure incident reporting procedures are understood and complied with, and to assist with investigations where appropriate.
• To participate in HSE promotional activities and achieve cultural changes in the face of potential resistance.
• To set a personal example with regard to health and safety matters.

Pay: AED18,000.00 - AED23,000.00 per month
