Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented QA/QC Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining quality assurance and quality control processes across the design and pre-contract phases of a major railway project. This role ensures that all design deliverables meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and project quality objectives. The QA/QC Manager will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all design outputs, while promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP) in line with ISO standards and project requirements
Establish and monitor quality processes for design development, ensuring proper review, verification, and approval of deliverables
Lead quality audits and internal reviews to ensure compliance with project standards and procedures
Monitor and manage non-conformances, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented and closed out
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate quality requirements across all design activities
Support the preparation and review of tender documentation to ensure quality requirements are clearly defined
Ensure proper document control and traceability of all design submissions and revisions
Establish quality performance indicators and monitor overall design quality
Liaise with the Client and stakeholders on quality-related matters
Promote continuous improvement and best practices across the project team
Provide guidance and training team members on quality processes and procedures
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or related field. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification or equivalent is an advantage
Minimum 15+ years of experience in quality management, with proven expertise in rail or metro projects.
Strong experience in QA/QC processes during design and pre-contract stages
Good understanding of multidisciplinary design processes and coordination
Familiarity with international quality standards and regulatory requirements
Experience in audits, non-conformance management, and continuous improvement processes
Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure consistency across complex design deliverables
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in complex multi-stakeholder environments, preferably in the GCC
