QA/QC Supervisor - Joinery Experience Only

Job description:

1. Reviewing and understanding architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

2. Developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure that joinery products meet quality standards and customer specifications.

3. Conducting quality control inspections of joinery products throughout the production process, including incoming materials, in-process production, and final products.

4. Identifying and resolving quality issues, including non-conformances, defects, and deviations from customer specifications.

5. Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules, ensure adherence to all procedures, and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.

6. Liaise with the Technical Engineer for submission of material submittals to the Consultant.

7. Conducting root cause analysis of quality issues to identify the underlying causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

8. Coordinate with the Consultant’s representative and Site In-charge for Inspection.

9. Developing and maintaining quality records and documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action reports.

10. Providing guidance and training to production staff on quality control procedures and techniques.

11. Coordinating with other departments, such as production, engineering, and project management, to ensure that quality requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.

12. Conducting customer satisfaction surveys and analyzing feedback to identify areas for improvement.

13. Participating in industry conferences, seminars, and workshops to stay up-to-date with new developments and best practices in quality assurance and quality control.

Requirements

1. At least 3+ Years of Experience

2. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

3. To be successful as a Joinery QA/QC Supervisor, candidates should have a strong understanding of joinery production processes and quality control techniques, as well as excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

4. A degree in engineering, woodworking, or a related field is typically required, along with relevant experience in a quality control or quality assurance role in the joinery industry.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
