QC Analyst (Fragrance Industry)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Analyst to support the production operations within our fragrance manufacturing division at Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in fragrance quality control, compound formulation, and perfume development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and batch-wise quality checks on raw materials, compounds, and finished fragrance products
• Perform analytical and physical testing (e.g., GC analysis, specific gravity, viscosity, appearance, stability)
• Ensure all fragrance formulations meet established quality, safety, and regulatory standards
• Review, evaluate, and approve production samples before release
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with SOPs and GMP guidelines
• Work closely with perfumers, compounders, and production teams to address quality deviations and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate quality records, test reports, and batch documentation
• Support perfume development activities by evaluating trial samples and providing technical feedback
• Assist in troubleshooting formulation or production issues
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams regarding material quality concerns
• Participate in audits, validations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience working in a fragrance, flavour, or cosmetic manufacturing facility
• Bachelors Degree in chemistry, biochemistry or chemical engineering
• Knowledge of IFRA standards and regulatory compliance
• Exposure to R&D or technical evaluation for perfume development
• Strong knowledge of fragrance compounding, raw materials, and perfume creation processes
• Hands-on experience with analytical instruments used in fragrance QC
• Solid understanding of chemical properties, safety protocols, and manufacturing standards
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• High attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a strong sense of quality ownership
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
